Fruit Basket
The fruit basket is full. One orange, one peach.
Pear, tangerine, plum, and apple. One of each.
Hiding in the corner, is the lemon alone.
Each different, each special, each in its unique way.
The orange and peach go through everything.
The rest, loyal to the basket, respecting the place.
Laughter during the day, silence in the night.
The uncommon lemon, who never believed,
Although sour, has sweetness in her life;
For she has family.
The fruit basket is full. One orange, one peach.
Pear, tangerine, plum, and apple. One of each.
Hiding in the corner, is the lemon alone.
Peeking out, seeing the bright side of the world.
Many years passed, many years will come.
However the fruit basket will forever be sync in heart.
