Through Blind Eyes
Wonder what it’s like
To see
Through a blind man’s eyes
Superhuman hearing
Picking up bits of conversation
Triggering vivid images
I wonder what it’s like
When everything you see
Is the way you like it.
Not having to deal with
The ugliness of human kind
Seeing only the beauty of nature.
Seeing fantastical things,
Clouds forever frozen at sunset
Raining drops of water tinted purple.
People with gossamer skin,
No ugly smog clinging to the ground
Just clear open air
Anything you want it to be.
I would love to see
Through blind eyes, just one day.
No human mistakes clouding my vision.
Just nature as it was indented to be.
