Knowing
She sat cold
Her once beautiful clothes torn and tattered on the floor
She sat on the floor
Her innocent child life no more
Her blood and his **m mixed on the wooden floor
Tear stained face shook and quivered as her heart began to remember
Remember his smiling face and her trusting mistake
Remember his dark intent and her inability to make a difference
His cruel eyes will follow her for life
Knowing that when she sleeps she will never be alright
She will walk day by day
Knowing that her life will never be the same
