Ugliness
Filth and dirt stuck in the cracks
Of this world of blue and black
I saw this once
It was no dream
But this was pure reality
Who would have thought,
This world so vain
Could cause so much grief and pain
This ugly place
It moves with haste
To find the newest thing to hate
Don’t try to clean
This awful filth
It’s too far gone,
This dirt has stealth
It seeps into our lives so free
This ugly world is our reality.
