Day and night
The memory of you melts away like a snowflake,
Leaving me feeling empty, is all I can take.
I tell myself I don't need you,
I can walk away and find arms that hold me tighter.
I can replace your olive eyes with blue ones.
A pair that won't look away,
A heart that won't hide in the dark,
A hand that will grasp mine,
A smile that won't fade.
I tell you I don't need,
But If only you needed me,
may be it would be like day and night.
