Favorite Quote:
Silly things do cease to be silly if they are done by sensible people in an impudent way. ~Emma by Jane Austen

Be proud of me.
That is all I ask.
A pat. A hug. A word.
An act of sincerity.

Be proud of me
Through the storms
That threaten to rip out
Our hearts and souls
From their steel cages.

Be proud of me
Through the panics
Of the everyday.

Be proud of me.
Me: who sees so much
Out of so little.
Me: who sees the
Threshold of my life
As an open garland
of sweet, summer roses.

Be proud of me,
So that when I pass that threshold,
I will create a life built upon a
still, stone foundation.

Be proud of me,
So that I may be proud of others.
