"So we shall let the reader answer this question for himself: Who is the happier man, he who has braved the storm of life and lived, or he who has stayed securely on shore and merely existed?" - Hunter S Tompson

Once there was a blue bird named Blue.
A bird named Blue who flew and flew.

He flew upwards
And downwards
And sidewards
And longwards
'Cause That's what he loved to do.

He flew all day short
And all day long
And after so much flying
He decided to sing a song.

He sang
And he sang
And he sang
As he flew
Just as little birds
So often will do.

He sang high and he sang low
And after not so long
He had nowhere else to go.

So he flew over to a large hat
While he contemplated this and that.

"I know where I'll go!
I know what I'll do!"

Said little Blue as he flew.

"Ill fly over the stars!
I'll fly over the mountains!
I'll fly over the ocean blue!"

All around the world will I go,
All around space I will be,
Then there will be nothing left for me to see!"

"If I leave now and fly quickly,
I will be back before anyone will miss me."

So for worse or for the better,
Without so much as a note,
And without so much as a letter,

The Blue bird named Blue
Flew away forever
And poor Blue was
Bluer than ever.

"... How dreary to be somebody-- How public like a frog;
To tell one's name; the livelong June-- To an admiring bog"
-Emily Dickinson

This poem made me smile and very much reminded me of Alice in Wonderland (the book not the movie.) And yes I think it almost was nonsensical...and there's nothing wrong with that. Anyway, loved the poem.

I like this one too, it's almost nearly a nonsense poem, but not quite :)
