Doppelganger
The snow falls and it cools my hot tears
I have done something wrong something that could've been avoided
I lay in her blood while she lays sprawled in a heap dead
I shot her with my gun ending her life
She was so young an amazing life ahead of her a diamond ring upon her finger
Green with envy I took her ring
In remorse I called the cops I claimed to have been her sister
We looked so alike it was believable
I am her doppelganger not her sister
I was barely her friend when I pulled the trigger
The gun it laid in her hand I looked into her deep blue eyes and I knew that I was wrong
I killed her to become her
I didn't want to be doppelganger anymore
That's what I told the cop when he locked me in a cell and threw away the key
