Under The Mask
The Mask is pain, scarring your face,
Digging into your eyes and leaving dark pockets under them.
Its liquid surface dripping into your mouth,
Your words are no longer yours.
You belong to The Mask, it protects you... For a price.
It controls you.
But I see under it.
You know I do. Is that what scares you?
Or are you scared of what I see?
