Last One Standing
There used to be many of
My kind
I am the last one standing
I have witnessed my brothers
Fall
My sisters have cried out
As they tumbled to the ground
They will be coming for me
I can sense it
My arms are weak
From supporting this weight on my
Immense shoulders
I have no doubt
In my worldly mind
That I will soon collapse
I am the only one remaining
I have become the Weeping Willow
My sadness
Is supported well
My relatives are gone
I shall follow
There is no hesitation in this
Fact
When I crumble
There will be no more
The Enemy
Has won
The beauty I once held
Has eternally been
Stripped from me
