I Can Be Mended
I’ve been broken years ago,
But you refused to mend me,
You drown yourself in break-up songs,
This doesn’t seem to help me.
You pretend that everything’s okay,
Though you’re really hurting,
Sometimes just to please your friends,
You pretend that you’re still flirting,
It doesn’t have to be this way,
It’s time to let him go,
It’s time for you to accept the fact,
He’s no longer your beaux,
It’s time to face the music girl,
The relationship has ended,
But the on thing that you need to know,
Is that I can be mended.
