The Unforgotten
I wonder all day and night through my visions.
Visions so vivid, so realistic
I can still taste the blood from my raw bitten lips.
Your body violently overpowers mine.
The thought of terror
Creates my body to tremble.
Tears run frantically down my burning cheeks.
I’m trapped.
Battle scars cover my body from head to toe.
Defeat.
Defeat in a form that imprints on life,
On my life.
But she is magnificent.
The most beautiful creation of life.
Maybe she looks like her father,
wouldn't know.
