This Limited Love
That numb feeling set in again
Like it did
When you came through that door
Leaving me speechless
With every weightless
Movement.
You left
Just as fast
As you arrived.
Soaring through the sky
An eagle with broken wings
Falling easily
With a roaring fire
Following your end
In a fury
You started this wildfire
That only you can douse
With your saving waters
But you walked away
From the spectacle
You made me.
Alone
I stand
In a river of tears
Drowning
Drifting away.
You walk with grace
To My last life support
Break it in half
Walk away
With a devilish smile
Is that what love is?
