Predator
Funny how things turn out
Just the way you want them to
No beginning
No middle
An end
Containing every emotion
Taken from their leader.
You steal hearts for a living
Leaving them to beat
Lifelessly
Like a rag doll
In a child's hand.
Adrenaline rushing
So few words
To describe how I feel
But a rhythmic beating
On the west side table,
Barely audible
By yourself.
Taking candy from a baby
Girls falling
Left and right
No one to catch them
Because you're not there
You've moved in
To better things
To better people.
You are just a predator
In search of prey.
