death
reeks on our clothes.

Over here,
life
slowly slips away.

Over here,
shells
rattle our souls.

Over here,
sleep
can't find its way.

Over here
there is no glory.
Over here
there is no praise.
Death is not an honor,
when you hope to live
another day.
