Words Never Spoken
Words Never Spoken:
Here I stand with a smile on my face
Hiding the fight down inside.
Quietly I weep
Yet no one hears a cry
On my knees I fall
My burdens pushing me down
And then I open my mouth to cry
The words never spoken
God can you hear me?
Hear my silent cry?
God can you hear me?
It is I
Oh, it is I……
Your child.
I pour out my heart to you
Lips moving quickly
But no sound comes forth.
Why, oh, why is this happening?
What is my purpose, Lord?
I see children dying
And people lying.
Why, oh, Why?
God can you hear me?
Hear my silent cry.
God can you hear me?
It is I
Oh, it is I……
Your child.
And then I speak the words never spoken
Never spoken
God, I see depression, faithless religion, people struggling to get by
I see a child in the distance still crying why did you let Daddy die?
A friend is on her knees a knife in hand
A teacher is oppressed for proclaiming to be the Lord’s number one fan.
God can you hear me?
Hear my silent cry.
God can you hear me?
It is I
Oh, it is I……
Your child.
Oh, God we need You.
We really need Your Son.
We need Your Redemption
As we proclaim You are the only One
God can you hear me?
I hear you.
Hear my silent cry.
God can You hear me?
I hear you
It is I
Oh, it is I
Your child.
(SPOKEN) Luke 20: 36 “Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.”
