Once Upon A Midnight
When you feel the sun’s beams,
Gently stroking your arm in comfort,
She feels a intruder, another not to be trusted,
When you receive a compliment,
And smile,let happiness takes over,
She shuts out another liar.
When you soak in a hot bath,
Letting the steam relax your aching bones,
She carries her pain with her, poison in her heart,
When a boy takes your hand and kisses you gently,
You fall, and eventually love,
And once upon a midnight,
So did she.
