Why Must The Good Die Young?
And he lie still.
Stiff as a board in the floor of Heaven.
With eyes of glass and skin of ice,
We wonder, why such a fate?
He was the Moon, brightening the night.
He was the Sun, giving life to us all.
He was the Ocean, flooding us with love.
He was the North Star, showing us the way.
Why now?
Why him?
Limitless questions, you ask today.
Forever you will ask, but the answer is blind.
Perhaps God took his soul, for it was so beautiful.
He is an angel now, watching down upon you with a smile.
His wings spread as he watches you grow.
Make him proud, and do not give up.
For he loves you infinitely.
For love itself, is infinite.
Remember him by the memories,
the laughter,
the smiles.
That will keep him alive,
In your heart,
Mind,
And Soul.
Forever.
