Unfitted Piece
I am lost here.
Drowning in this sea of blindness
Trapped among the outsiders.
I stand out here
A puzzle peice that doesn’t quite fit
Like a swipe of paint across this blank canvas
I see them here
Running around like chickens without heads
Straight to their doom
I wait here
As they commune and communicate
I wait, for a way out
I struggle here
Captivated by the glimmering sparkle
The trap has been set
I long for comfort here
And comfort is found
Instantly, its born and instantly coveted.
I am different here
Not like the rest,
I don’t belong nor do i fit in with the crowd
I rejoice here
Who would ever wish to be
Shaped into a mold such as this one I see?
I have hope here
An unmovable, unfailing, eternally faithful hope
For a brighter future and a better tomorrow than
The perfectly fitted puzzle peices next to me
