Sleep with the lights on
Afraid of what you will find
When the darkness envelopes your body
The black ink seeps under the door
Like blood spilt from your pounding heart
Beckoning
It's diabolical seduction
Begs and pleads for your consent
"Succumb to me, lover" it hisses
So chillingly pleasant
As you shudder in it's familiar hold
Don't forget who you were
Don't forget who you're going to be
Someday, someday
If the phantom light shows
It's phantom face again.

I think that this poem means something different to everybody, and that's all that I will say.
