Butterflies
The gut wrenching nerves
I get when we talk
Can hurt so bad
It's like I can't walk
I don't know what to say
Which is why I tend to avoid
Conversations when I can
So my heart isn't as void
I don't know if you'll ever see
How much it hurts me
To talk to you and care
While you're with her
Its something I can't control
But I wouldn't stop it if I could
Its hard to explain but
Liking you is something I would
Do, even if it killed me
If that was how it had to be
All of these crazy butterflies
Are worth all my late night cries
