Possibilities
The possibilities are yet unknown,
like two pieces of fabric,
hashed and sewn.
Both are bright,
and both are dull.
Both are tattered,
and both have holes.
One is me,
and one is you.
One is black,
and one is gold.
Both are alive,
and both are cold.
Both are starved,
and both are soon to be fed.
One is me,
and one is you.
One is my heart,
to do with it what you choose.
The possibilities are yet unknown,
like two pieces of fabric,
hashed and sewn.
