Mother of My Dreams
Now I know it may be cliché to say,
But you’re the best I could have asked for.
Always there for me every day,
Hanging out with you is never a bore.
We’re practically best friends,
Heartfelt but also weird.
The laughter never ends,
Up to today down to when I first appeared.
I’m the mini version of you,
Or, you’re the mini version of me.
Closest mother-daughter duo to break through,
Because we make a great team, everyone can agree.
I wouldn’t be nearly the same
Without such a great mother.
Your strong and confident nature may be to blame,
But I couldn’t have any other.
Mom, you’re the best I could have dreamed of.
Merry Christmas, my love.
