Why is he just sitting here
Heart full of sorrow
Eyes full of tear
Crying until tomorrow?

Can anyone hear him screaming
Or is it just in his mind
Love; what is its meaning
Is it still left to find?

He can only stand on the side
With eyes round as the moon
Throat dry, no pride
When will he shatter his cocoon?

Open your eyes
There's a boy who loves her
As the boy just dies
Things are always as they were.

The author's comments:
I wrote this poem because it expresses the current situation I'm in. I hope that when people read this piece, they realize the difficulty of the hearts of some kids who don't have the strength to follow their hearts.
