Rose Heart
In my heart there was a seed
The seed was dark and small
And from it sprouted a rose
The rose's petals were red as blood
The rose's leaves was greener then green
The rose's thorns were black as night
Inside my heart,
The rose flourished,
For you were my sun, my water.
Then one day a chill came across me
And burned the rose with it's cold
The petals browned and fell
The leaves withered and became black
So soon there was only a thorny stick
Fear me, my love
For it was you that made my heart cruel
Hate me, my sweet
For without a heart I am nothing
For I was wrong, darling
You are not the sun, nor are you water
You are an ice cold storm
Full of burning cold
