Physicality
I feel your eyes
on me
I feel
your haunting
brown eyes
So different
from mine
knowing a much
more cutting
pain than I
Burning
And not yet
hurting
the exposed flesh
of my legs
your eyes
fall upon
Enough heat
to turn
the pink
of my cheeks
a red
I’m all too
familiar with
I feel your
eyes
And I want
to glance
over
into your
haunted
brown eyes
Uncomfortable
but almost
wanting
in the search
Not yet
physical
