Still Waiting
In darkness she waits,
for the sun to rise,
so she can finally forget,
the only place she hates,
Slowly it peaks, and shifts into place,
and it only takes one step,
to find out,
she's frozen in place.
Hours pass, the sun sets leaving darkness to prevail,
she wishes the sun as bright,
the moon not so pale.
