break the mirrors
I look into a mirror
and see myself
a frown spreads across my face
I'm not good enough for the World
The mirror causes my insecurities
The mirror has caused this feeling
So I will go around to every mirror
I will break everyone of them
There is no longer a mirror
No longer a reflection
Now something else comes over me
It is wonder
I now wonder if I'm good enough
Maybe seeing is better than nothing
I bought a new mirror
hung it up on the wall and looked
My reflection was beautiful
No more wonder
I'm no longer insecure
Because I no know I have beauty
This whole time I had beauty
The mirror just tricks you
It makes you insecure
Then it makes you wonder
It forces you
to place it on the wall again
Sorry mirror
you can't trick me again
I am beautiful
And no mirror will change that
