You Make Me Feel
You make me feel free
It doesn’t matter what the rest of the world wants me to be
I can be myself
Not masked behind products on an empty shelf
I open up to you
For your thoughts and feelings hold true
You know what it’s like
These gears in my head spinning like a bike
With you
I can be an animal in the zoo
Crazy, chaotic, cool
Because you don’t use me as a tool
I will always hold true to you
No matter what we go through
If my condition gets worse
I know you won’t disperse
You will stand next to me
Like a perfect Golf Ball tee
Always reliable
That’s undeniable
When I’m in pain
And I’ve lost my brain
I know
Your presence will always show
You are the greatest thing that has happened to me
You helped me realize who I am meant to be
This is a tiny thank-you from me to you
And I pray that you feel the same way too
