i sit around and wait
all day long
for something to go right
when I’m surrounded by wrong.

i would love nothing more
than to see your face again,
but the real question
is when?

when will things go back to normal?
i don’t know how long I can wait
anymore.

“i miss you” doesn’t cut it
for me.
Do something to prove it,
please.
