Its Called Life: Get Used To It

I claw
I shriek
To get to the top!
But the Powers think otherwise
they grab my screaming body
And pitch it down to earth
Choked in darkness and evil
and malice
and greed
and power
and life!
The life!
It makes me angry.
Just the essence of it
The cold, hungry eyes the humans have
Living only to die
Death is a better choice
In that you are not dissipointed
