I think this is lovely. The topic is not a serious one, and yet I would not call this a comical poem. The words employed are efficient, yet they flow nicely. I do not quite see what you are getting at at the end of the second verse. The rhymes is nice, though. My other bit of advice is to use more punctuation. I have the same issue, and it took me a while to warm up to the idea. I am now conviced, however, that it has improved my writing. Very nice work as a whole.     P.S.
