Night
Dear seldom, quiet, city nights,
help me find comfort in chaos.
Use your silence to block out
all the screaming in my head.
Soothe my worries,
with the indulgence of this pillow.
Let me rest,
this dreary head of mine.
I close my eyes
to find the serenity.
But what I find
is fear in darkness.
The loss of control in my thoughts
worries me.
What monsters and secrets
will appear with these nightmares.
I try to find peace in sleep,
for it has so much of it to offer.
But I find difficulty in achieving
a peaceful night.
My mind holds endless villains
that come out when all is gone.
The asperity of my loneliness.
all present, at night, in bed.

This was depressing almost. But I like it. It's truly very good.
