Take my heart and break it
Pretend to love me sure, go ahead and fake it
Mend it up and drop it again
Make me think this love isn’t pretend
Crush the pieces into dust and blow them away
Because I finally know this is only play
But don’t forget to gather them up
Because it would be just my luck to give them back one more time
And relive this awful rime
Again and again until there’s nothing left
For you to break and forget
