You, were the one.
I was who I am, if ever I am meant to be.
I have fought many battles, and emerged gloriously.
If ever I lacked something, it would only be you.
If I had my pick of your beauty or destiny, I simply could not choose.
So I ran, and along the way made many lovely collisions and incisions.
Also I was faced with many, many more difficult decisions.
In a moment of despotism, and fear, I recalled my obligation to you: to love, to lust and to leave if anything I spoke was untrue.
I presumed that to be the cause for my departure (my instability).
But you were the only to break my armor (decreasing my credibility).
I have been known for my lackluster, but also my inability to exude (confidence).
Though my ego will rear its head (time and again).
I suppose my flaw is attempting to always sound with melody.
And possibly giving off a false sense of purity.
Periodically I open to some, and you were among the lucky few.
Though rarely does anyone have courage enough to stomach what I have to spew.
Not on account of their lack to comprehend.
Merely, I have been this way from the beginning and will be til the very end.
