What is Love?
Is love when you see someone for the first time
and are attracted to them?
No that is often mistaken for lust
love at first sight?
No such thing
the fact that you find them really attractive
or laugh at bad jokes to flirt?
No not that either thats not love
So what is love then?
love is the look they give you when you’re together
everything they does that makes you laugh
love needs to be cultivated and takes a lot of work
it is every thing you do to make them happy
to never let a frown on their face
the willingness to lay down your life for them
Love is when the only thing you want from them
is their happiness
and to be with her at all times good and bad
the willingness to never quit even when it gets bad
but to work through it
because you want it to work
to see their face and think of happiness
to go beneath the skin and get to the person beneath
to love and cherish
to hold and be held
that is what love is and to find it is hard
but when you do and you have it rite
they are the one
with them your life is perfect
without life is dark but the mere though of them gets you through the day and brings light to you
even in your darkest day
they can pull you out of the deepest de spare
but you also need to remember
to treat them with your upmost respect
to understand when they need space
but be there when they need you
to hold them and never let go
that is love
