young colored brotha screamin within
jus tryna make it

growin up writin grammer wrong by tha pen
hopin i dont commit crimes to greet all of my fellow frenz
in the pen
not the ink
but what you think
gettin s tr8t A's cannot spell worth ish
but my grammer will improve by educations kiss.
coming from where i was nurtured
the highest crime rate was muder
but still i climb while the world gets its slumber
cause im young, black, and im from St. Johns
but im going to make it...
