Obliterated
What would happen if my dreams never came true?
My dreams, my hopes, my wishes, obliterated.
My heart, my red heart, would drip rubies.
Those precious rubies would gather together,
They would cry with me as I broke apart.
My voice would die inside me,
The pink lips upon my mouth would crack,
Those tanned hands of mine would hurt.
And they too would cry.
My waist would shrink to a reasonable size,
The tree trunks I call legs would shiver,
The beating red heart inside my chest would moan,
My soul would shatter.
What would happen if my dreams never came true?
My dreams, my hopes, my wishes, obliterated.
