Lost pieces
Self preservation is the first law of nature,
I'm wandering thru the wilderness looking for a savior,
Less of a man than an animalistic being,
Stand up and die rather than kneel down pleeing,
The trees cloud my mind and I can no longer see the days go,
Looking past our differences and still... no te veo,
My vision seems pointless without seeing my sunshine here,
Thoughts of "us" cloud my mind and now all I can do is tear,
Fear is nothing but a thunder cloud now,
Because it feels strangely familiar not having you around,
Our love was once heavenly but now its earth bound,
My heart was once frozen cold,
And In your tears my soul drowned,
All our dreams shattered as the tears hit the ground,
The echos of past love,
...I can still hear the sound,
The scattered remains of my broken heart,
Lost to never be found.
