It's not that you left,
It's not that you havent called.
It's not that I loved you,
or that you let me fall.
It's that even though
you weren't really mine,
I thought I meant enough
for you to say goodbye.

It's really strange...I've had an experience just like this, and it took me quite a while to truly get over it. Your poem describes so perfectly what I could never put into words. Thank you!
