Stalked Through The Night
It stalks her through the evening
Waiting until dark to attack
She always anticipates it's arrival
Only a matter of moments now
She can feel the eyes boring into her back
They burn holes through her clothes
And leaves burn marks on her back
Once the sun sets, she's left defenseless
Somehow she's grown accustomed to the silent attack
As everyone settles in for the night
She's left bleeding out, screaming out
The pain is unbearable
Her body is shutting down
Blackness comes to rescue her
He offers a safe harlow
She takes it before time runs out
Because she's never felt so hollow.
