smiling floor soul
They say telling the truth is easy
So why won’t my lip
Let the truth slip out
I’m in doubte
About what the truth is
Thick patches of denial
Cover my heart in mystery
technically I’m not ashamed to be me
I just don’t want everyone else to see
Crumbling parts of my world
I become a poor man masquerade in a smile
Drived from false truth and a vanishing past
All the happyest people have known pain for some while
Why wear what can be put away in a file
It Doesnt change anything?
Because I discarded the ugly
So emotionally I can
Live hiding
And abiding
hoping that no one can understand what they cant see
So continually they can not see me
