Did you ever want so badly to push your lips
Up against a not so foggy glass pain
And have the entire world sway?
Watch as you stretched out your arms,
An enormous embrace,
Happy to fill your hands
With the admiration of an audience,
The awe of the awed,
The silence of the silent, behind
The ever extending, invisible, fourth wall
Whilst they stared back at you
Eyes glossy with stagelight
Happy to savor the glow or your talented talents.
