Hope
The pills lined up like little soldiers
Making their way into my body
Down goes one, then another till its all gone.
Inject, Stab, Puncture my skin.
Its filled with clear liquid.
Feeling the world getting better.
Scars cover my delicate arms and legs.
Afraid but slowly reliving memories.
Hope.
It covers my floors with pills, bottles, syringes.
One by one, shot by shot, it makes the false hope I need.
Just to get through the day.
