Wanted: Inspiration
I have writer's block:
a disease so vile
of an artist's worst trial,
especially when you have been sitting here
thinking for a while.
I ate a snack, I read a book,
even went to sleep,
but no inspiration came with meaning so deep.
My words were rambled;
my thoughts scrambled,
they just couldn't come
together.
With this luck, I'd have more chances winning big with roulette in tornadic weather.
So I'll sit here
until my thoughts return home,
and maybe this meaningless nothing,
will somehow turn
into a poem.
