The Hurt, The Pain, The Misery
Please don’t reform me
Society is killing me
The ashes crumble down around me
Of what once used to be
The flames lick eagerly
And dance around the edges of the building
As I let go of the hurt I felt inside
I can feel the heat on my skin
The flame reflected in my eyes
As what once haunted me dies
I couldn’t seem to let go
Of what once held me in control
But now I have the power to burn it to the ground
The flames grow taller and leap around
I can hear the frantic shouts
He tries to escape it
But the flames engulf
He tries to run away from it
But I push him back
He deserves to feel what he’s done to me
The hurt, the pain and the misery
Was all because of him
I let the flames lick up his skin
And listen to his pleading, tortured cries
I know its wrong but I can’t help it
It’s for all he has done to me
