Life's Road
As I drive,
I see the sun set behind me.
I think about my life,
my family, my friends,
and how good my overall life has been.
I think how lucky I am to be who I am.
But I also think about all the hard times I've been through.
All the tears that have fallen.
All the pain I've suffered.
But how I've always had people by my side to help me overcome anything.
My fear, my struggles, my regrets.
I think how many wrong turns I have tooken on this road of life, but how many good ones I've made too.
It's easy to lose your way through life.
You never know when you might take a wrong turn and get lost.
Or when you make the right turn and you have the feeling of pure happiness.
But if you ever do make a wrong turn and get caught up in the storm, just remember that it can't rain forever so you might as well just dance in the rain.
