Poetry
Ask me this:
Do I write Poetry because I like to?
Or does Poetry like me writing it?
When I write do I have a general idea first?
Or does an idea generaly come to me as I write?
After i'm finished do I read it over and over again?
Or will the verses stand there moking someone else to read them?
Will I ever edit it's mistakes and change it's meanings?
Or will it's meanings over write any mistakes?
What about it's title, fame, and offers?
Or will it's offers of fame be subdued without a title?
Laugh at it, cry at it, even get confused.
But watch it laugh and cry as it tries to confuse you.
Look, writing Poetry doesn't have to rhyme.
But rhyming with your life is why Poetry's written.
Don't question Poetry or ask about it more.
Or Poetry will question, what do you live for?
