Free Falling
Litteraly stepping off the cliff wasn't the hard part. It was the freefall.
And then when I landed, Gravity took a minute to catch up.
So I waited while thinking about the ride down.
And every little moment felt like a still-pistured movie.
But when I woke up all I could remember was seeing myself hit the ground.
Over and over again. Getting smaller and smaller. And fading even the more slightly.
Until I realized what was really happening.
I wasn't seeing myself. I was seeing Gravity, the cliff, the fall, the wind, the last moments.
I was seeing what life would do to you.
How before the moment you were born, you were given coordinates, a way to live. A way to die.
And as I stepped off the edge, the freefall down gave me too much time to think.
I was already falling. Already set my coordinates. Already knew not to look back.
Life is a game. And you're just a mouse stuck in it's trap.
