Whatshername
One day.
I'll be famous.
So famous,
Everyone knows my name.
So famous,
High school kids will write papers about me.
But what will they say i did in my childhood?
That i spent my time roaming aimlessly,
Around a town i just couldn't seem to get out of?
That i was just 'some kid',
A blank face?
A 'whatshername',
In a school of 300?
That i tried so hard,
But some people,
Just didn't notice?

"My role in society, or any artist's or poet's role, is to try and express what we all feel. Not to tell people how to feel. Not as a preacher, not as a leader, but as a reflection of us all."
This is good and I can really relate. =)
Would you mind checking out and rating/commenting on my poems? Thanks!
